Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast, was a member of both the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. Aly Raisman was awarded three gold medals at the 2012 Olympics, in London. In addition, she took home a bronze on balance beam. This made her the first American gymnast to compete at the Olympics to earn the most medals. In 2016, the Olympics saw her win a gold at the team competition, which earned both she as well as Gabby the distinction as the first Americans ever to have consecutive team golds. Additionally, she took home two silver medals for the floor and for the individual all-around. After the 2002 Olympics, she stopped for three years gymnastics. In addition she was part of two gold-winning American gymnastics squads. She began learning gymnastics at the age of two and her favourite event is floor workouts. Aly supports the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother who passed away from cancer. Aly is planning to pursue the profession of a fashion designer. She hopes to pursue expanding her trademark range of leotards. Fierce will be out at the end of summer.
